• Structured the sharing of local portion of State sales
tax to off-set the off-site public improvements for an 80 acre
retail development in Chesapeake, VA.
• Drafted the first Urban Homesteading Program in Virginia
which was implemented in Newport News, VA.
• Hired by Cordish as part of the development consulting
team for the public/private development of the Power Plant entertainment/retail
development in Hampton, Virginia.
• Worked with City of Norfolk, VA in acquiring the City
Multi-Service Facility for the revitalization of the Tidewater
Drive and Little Creek Road area with a retail center built around
a new Wal-Mart Supercenter.
• Worked on Virginia’s first Environmental Indemnification
Program where a Home Depot development was used to incapsulate
a former non-organic landfill in Newport News, Virginia.
• Harbour View Station Town Center - worked with developer
on a Tax Increment Financial District with a pending Community
Development Authority in Suffolk, Virginia.
• Worked with a private developer for intersection improvements
near an interestate interchange with funding from a Tax Increment
Financing District in the Greenbrier area of Chesapeake, Virginia.
• Worked on structuring a public/private partnership with
City of Roanoke, Virginia to fund a new interstate interchange
to serve Valley View Mall, a Wal-Mart SuperCenter and adjacent
properties.
• Ongoing negotations for a public/private venture in Norfolk,
Virginia.
• Ongoing negotations for a public/private initative with
structured parking in a T.I.F. district in Chesapeake, Virginia.
